More About Me

Bruce McAdoo arrived to the Emerald Coast as a military dependent in 1978 and has affectionately called this area "Home" ever since. His father was an Air Force pilot and Bruce attended Shalimar Elementary, Meigs Middle School ("Junior High" at the time) , and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. From there, Bruce embarked on a 25-year, notable, career in the Culinary world. He completed out this cycle of his professional life as the Executive Chef for 13+ years at the first-ever 4 Diamond AAA-rated Fine Dining restaurant here on the Gulf Coast known as SEAGAR'S, located in the Hilton Sandestin Resort.Bruce is married to his childhood sweetheart, Louise Buchanan McAdoo and they have two young boys, Liam and Will. After making the decision to retire from the Culinary industry, Bruce has chosen to continue to "serve" the community as a Realtor with ERA American. He feels his career will still afford him the joy he gets from providing people with "black tie" "concierge-level" service from someone they can trust and who has their best interest at heart. Bruce has always had a knack for taking care of people with this highest level of consideration and his expertise in this area is part of his top-notch, long-standing reputsation in the local area. But perhaps more to the point, Bruce says his main goal in this new phase of his professional life is simply helping families navigate the process of making the Gulf Coast their perfect home. And that, of course, involves finding - and owning - the perfect house as well.
